---PISTOL---
Six Episode Miniseries

FX has just given the green
light for the production of a six-episode miniseries to be directed by Danny Boyle, very well known for
directing “Trainspotting”, “Slumdog Millionaire”, 127 Hours.
 The project -titled Pistol-
will be based on “Lonely Boy: Tales From
a Sex Pistol”, memoirs written by the band's guitarist Steve Jones, while the scripts will be in charge of Craig Pearce and Frank Cottrell Boyce.
As reported by The
Hollywood Reporter, Pistol will
focus on Steve Jones, who co-founded the Sex Pistols in the mid-70s. The story
will follow his life from West
London's council estates to Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's boutique, one of the early centers
of punk culture in London- the rise and fall of the group.

FX president of original
programming Nick Grad, said: "It's great to be working with Danny Boyle again, an exceptional
artist responsible for great feature films and television series. Steve Jones was at the center of the storm
that shook the institution of rock and we are delighted that Danny and the rest
of the creative team are telling their story as a member of one of the most
famous bands in music - the Sex Pistols.
"
The series will star Toby Wallace (who will play Jones), Anson Boon (who will play John Lydon), Louis Partridge (as bassist Sid Vicious),
Jacob Slater (will play Paul Cook), Fabien Frankel ( like Glen Matlock) and
Maisie Williams, among others.
