“The Root Cause” is an American Acoustic Rock group from Chicago, IL originally formed by musicians coming from different musical styles and genres. But when you listen to them… it all sounds like they’ve been touched by a magic wand to play together one of the most challenged styles: acoustic.

Max Riske is the band’s leader and singer, a veteran rocker and award winning from Chicago. Max has an uncountable number of successful live performances and recording sessions on a giant resume.

“The Root Cause” members work as a team and have shared their experiences and musical backgrounds from jazz to blues and rock to give birth to their first CD “Let The Music Do The talking”. The title talks by itself, just listen to what the music has to say.

When playing acoustic songs you have to hear the “musical notes” clear as crystal and enjoy the harmony between them. “The Root Cause” acoustic set “Let The Music Do The Talking” provides not only well played songs with surprising lyrics but undeniably building peaks as being a part of a theatrical play.

There’s an event happening on Friday, January 20th. “The Root Cause” will perform at The Montrose Room. According to press release from the band’s camp, there are free tickets available!
