R.I.P ALAIN DELON

French Actor Alain Delon passed away at the age of 88.

The world of cinema has lost one of its brightest stars, Alain Delon, who passed away at the age of 88. Delon, a French icon, was often referred to as 'the male Brigitte Bardot' and enjoyed a prolific career that spanned over six decades.

Alain Delon's journey in the film industry began in the late 1950s, and he quickly rose to prominence with his striking looks and remarkable talent. He became a symbol of the French New Wave, working with esteemed directors like Luchino Visconti and Jean-Pierre Melville. His performances in films such as "Rocco and His Brothers" (1960) and "The Leopard" (1963) cemented his status as a cinematic legend.

Delon's versatility as an actor was evident in his diverse range of roles, from the philosophical hitman in "Le Samouraï" (1967) to his turn as a romantic lead opposite Romy Schneider in "La Piscine" (1969). His ability to portray complex characters with depth and nuance won him critical acclaim and a devoted international following.

Also known for speaking his mind, and leading him sometimes to controversial opinions, he never shied away from expressing his views and sentiments. Aside from controversies, Delon's contributions to cinema were recognized with numerous awards, including a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

His legacy will continue to inspire actors and filmmakers for generations to come. The French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to Delon, calling him "a French monument" and "more than a star."

Alain Delon's passing is a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life and the enduring power of art. R.I.P Alain Delon.

"I'M TIRED AND EVERYTHING HURTS"

HATS OFF GENTLEMEN IT'S ADEQUATE

NEW SINGLE RELEASED

In his own words Malcolm Galloway

"A Must Read"

"This song is about the experience of wanting to be honest when asked how I am, while also being aware that in many social situations it isn't the one thing to actually say how you feel. This is a frequent problem for someone with an invisible disability that causes chronic pain".

"It mostly affects my spine, but also causes recurrent vomiting, chronic pain, unpredictable flare-ups in many joints, intermittent brain fog, and problems with the autonomic nervous system and peripheral nerves. Although some people with this group of conditions use a wheelchair, for me is an invisible disability, as although my life is greatly influenced by chronic pain, leading to me having to retire from my career as a consultant neuropathologist (hospital doctor), to most people most of the time I don't look visibly disabled".

The title of the song's been inspired by a Newsthump T-shirt. "I'm tired and everything hurts" is the seventh album of the band titled "The Light Of Ancient Mistakes" which was released on September 9th, 2023.

"I'm tired and everything hurts" sales will be donated to the Ehlers-Danlos Society to help with their work in research relating to the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Long Island based metal band Restless Spirit new release "Afterimage" is their third album out there hitting metal fans with killing guitars riffs, epic solos, and great singing melodies.

According to Magnetic Eye Records Press Release:
"The "Afterimage" album is lyrically driven by tragedy and personal loss. Singer and guitarist Paul Aloisio has put his heart and soul into the album. Confronted with a choice to deal with his pain in a healthy way or go down a destructive path, the singer and guitarist opted for the former but months later found his words to be prophetic for doing the latter. Deciding that artistry requires honesty, Alosio wanted to share his experience as a message to others in similar situations that they're not alone in their despair. "Afterimage" might well be read as a cautionary tale"

REMEMBERING CHRIS CORNELL

"UGLY TRUTH"

...Money can't give what the truth takes away...

Six years ago on May 17th, 2017, Soundgarden performed at the Fox Theater in Detroit City. After the show and, under very unclear circumnstances singer-songwriter-musician-frontman for Soundgarden Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room by his bodyguard. The cause of death was ruled a suicide by hanging so fast...

The silence around Chris Cornell's death is insane... how sad 😞, but there's a source making some noise out there 😉.

It's been said that a fan was angry at Chris for not singing "Ugly Truth" in one of the previous shows in Council Bluffs Iowa at the Westfair Amphitheater. According to some rumors the mysterious fan followed the band to the next shows in Wisconsin, Kansas City and Detroit. The guy walked in the MGM Grand hotel hall, waited there for Chris to come out and hit him on the head... simple as that.  The bodyguard told Chris the fan was angry at him for not singing one of his favorite songs...

WTF!!! Are they trying to make this look like a lone nut killing Chris Cornell as Mark Chapman did to John Lennon? Ouch! Unfortunately, the supossed angry fan could have been involved in the horrendous plan that killed Chris Cornell.

More to come soon...

"REMEMBERING NICK MENZA"

 Faxing the Interview

Article By Adriana Rubio

In early 2000 I asked for an interview with drummer Nick Menza. He was so nice and caring, he sent the answers to the questions via fax and we then were on the phone for a few more minutes talking about the questions, he gave some more insights and highlightingd especially on his solo projects and Aliens research. And we also talked about Don Menza his dad, a jazz musician, a prestigious saxophonist mainly known for The Pink Panther Theme among some other great jazz tunes he enjoyed playing. It really was an amazing talk.

For some unknown reason there was a technical problem with the faxing on my end, so Nick had to re-send the pages like 3 or 4 times. He just laughed about it every time I said the fax didn't get through. He didn't care about having to refax the entire thing over and over again. Nick really wanted to do the interview and share his thoughts so he was busy faxing for like an hour or so!

I remember Nick Menza as a person you don't meet often in the music business. I interviewed a long list of musicians, artists and actors among some other professionals-title job guys in the Entertainment industry for so many years; and I can only count just a few of them who touched my heart for being kind and respectful.

When I talked to Nick, I was writing a book a Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, and even though he was not drumming for Megadeth anymore he accepted the interview. And here is in his own handwriting what he said:

About playing drums & music, and his free time:
