“A Better Sky” is the 8th released album by talented and multi-instrumental
songwriter-musician-singer Jeffery Alan
DBury. A 13 track Rock’n’Roll CD recorded, mixed and mastered at ROK
Records Studio, Jeff’s own studio.
“A Better Sky” is undoubtedly the kind of Indie album that welcomes you into a Rock ‘n’
Roll trip driving you all the way through to really enjoying it as well as surprising
you in every stop with the magic next track provides.
“A Better Sky” is Jeffrey Alan DBury’s
newest creation, a complete CD set of 13 well written songs filled with a
variety of rock styles from hard rock, blues and progressive rock to heavy
metal including a classic honey moon love song.
The album starts with “Born To
Rock”, like in a live concert, giving the listener the excitement of being there
and really feel it, you know, when the lights are off and the announcer
introduces the artist on stage, it’s a unique moment that only rock music fans
can understand. So “Born To Rock” is
the opening track for this album and as I said right at the beginning of this
article, “A Better Sky” welcomes the
listener to a Rock ‘n’ Roll trip so you are traveling your best dream
destination for next stop at “Clock
Strikes Midnight” a more heavy rock tune to increase speed to this voyage
and make it all count with a very well played lead guitar solo.
Things slow down a little bit on this trip with “I just Wanna Be” a cool song with meaningful lyrics until “The Journey” track breaks in with more
progressive rock tunes where Jeffrey
Alan DBury plays all the instruments. And without imagining what the next
stop on this trip will be, a kick ass Blues knocks on your ears Oh Yeah! “You're
My Suicide Lover”, passionate sex lyrics
and the blues tunes leading you to whatever you do best…
OMG! If you disagree, “Shut Up”! Ha, ha, ha! Don’t get me wrong, it’s
next track, a heavy tune that honors the title!
