“MORTALITY CURVE”

The Splitz are an American Alternative band formed in 1986 in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI by guitarist / singer John Jaco, drummer Scott E. Berendt and bass player Mark Arnold. Later on, lead singer Tim McEvoy and keyboardist Dan Schneider were added to complete the new band line up.

The band achieved regional success and the interest of Slash / Warner Brothers in 1990. But the band declined a recording contract. The band went officially on a hiatus for two decades after self recording and distributing their first CD effort “”Minus One” in 1992.

The Splitz re-formed as a trio, and after 26 years hiatus they officially released a ten track full length CD titled “Mortality Curve” on November 29^th, 2018.

Ciudadano Vagabundo is the side Project of bass player, singer and songwriter Javier Cittadini of Argentine Rock Band “111” (Ciento Once) among some other bands he worked with until last year.

Ciudadano Vagabundo is the result of a last minute decision when the artist feels that there’s no true compromise in a band anymore and/or goals are not the same between band members so Javier convinced himself to ride this path alone.

Ciudadano Vagabundo is Javier Cittadini’s first true solo EP. He wrote all the songs, plays all the instruments and sings. The EP counts with a hit track titled “Sin Miedo a la Muerte” (“No Fear To Death”), a warm song that defies the conformism, expressing contemporary thoughts in times of domestic violence worldwide. The song was recorded as a duet with Rosario Ruiz, a new talented female singer with a bright singing future.

MUSIC PASSION CONTINUES TO GROW

Gilles Rawson, a London based musician who was born in France in 1982, is currently developing his musical career as a solo professional artist. Rawson started his path in the music industry some years ago as a talented singer songwriter and guitarist for a number of bands such as “U-Turn”, “Submission”, “Cortez” and “Raw Deal”.

Gilles fell in love with rock music at a very young age and his passion for it continues to grow professionally. He has recorded in studio some Demos, EPs, Singles and Full Length CDs over the years, but went on a hiatus for some time. However, there are some rumors saying that Gilles might be working on a “Master Piece” at closed doors these days.  Although Rawson’s camp and crew keep silent, Arts Publications Music & Films got a very little clue….  you will not believe your ears! In the meantime we must wait patiently! Yay!
